Madonna’s unhappy question “”How many people in this crowd have seen molly?” at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival in March was the cause of anger of the Dj Deadmau5 that didn’t waste time and attacked the queen of the pop music on his Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter.

For those that don’t know what is molly, it is a a slang term for MDMA, the active chemical in ecstasy, a drug often associated with electronic music concerts.

It didn’t take too long for their statements cause a big buzz on social medias at that time.

Soundcloud is an online musical network that allows promotion and distribution of music tracks.

With its launch (2007), Soundcloud became very popular among Dj’s because they could share their tracks and mixes for free, but since last year, the musical network established a new policy of policing uploads for copyrighted material. Soundcloud sends automated messages to users when there is any terms violation and it removes their tracks and mixes from the website.

Soundcloud can only take action if the copyright owner requests it, but because a lot of Dj’s mash different songs to complete a track, they will never know for how long their mixes will remain on the website.
